The ages are wrong. Shadow is 15 (and immortal) and Maria was 12 when she was alive. They parallel Sonic and Amy's ages. Also, please people, let the fans enjoy if they ship them. The ship is completely legal, and even Shiro Maekawa has stated multiple times he loves the ship and when fans upload fanart about them.
