The Talk:
"CoreOS is building the tools needed for the next wave of web services oriented around micro-services, containers, and dynamically scheduled applications. These tools are the components of a style of infrastructure that we refer to as “GIFEE”: Google’s infrastructure for everyone else.
CoreOS was founded on the mission to fundamentally improve the security of the Internet, and GIFEE is key to making this happen. CoreOS is building and contributing to open source projects for anyone to benefit from. Our projects include CoreOS, etcd, and rkt, and we work closely with the Kubernetes teams to build the solutions everyone can use for a more stable, efficient, and secure internet.
This talk will provide an overview of the history of CoreOS and what the future holds as we continue on our journey of bringing Google-style infrastructure to the world."
