I replaced my 3 wood with a Ping G425 5 wood and I absolutely love that club! It performs well and is really easy to hit. I also carry a 7 wood too which I am also a big fan of.

I hit the Ping 3wood and it felt amazing it was so easy to get the ball into the air. Something I struggle with my current Titleist 3wood.

Love the Ping adjustability. Bought the G425 3, 5, and 7 woods after your reviews. Stuck with the 3 and 7 wood and added a hybrid. Will likely upgrade to the 430 later when I can find some used🙂. Also want to try the stealth 2 plus 3 or 5 with that weight adjustment...looks pretty nice!

I had the pleasure of trying out the new Ping fairway woods yesterday. Wow. They are so easy to launch and get airborne, and I say that as a player who normally struggles to get the ball up in the air with a strongly lofted fairway.
I've not long bought a Titleist fairway but would be tempted to swap it for the Ping.
It's brilliant.

Just invested in a 7W, prompted by your reviews and testing and fitting by me at my local range

I'm in the market for a new fairway wood. Does the Paryadym lower launch still have stopping power or does it land and run out for total distance. Based on this, I'm leaning to the G430. I play a few courses with bunkers covering most of the front of the green and out of bounds behind the green. I need something that will land softer and not run out too much. Otherwise I have to layup and use a short iron for the approach. Thanks for the review.

I was planning to buy the Ping G430 3FW, but ping charges an additional $120 for a 40gram shaft while it's a free option with Paradym. I bought the Paradym.

I'm not sure if it was mentioned or not but if they have different shafts in won't that affect performance aswell ?

Hi Andy what are your opinions on the difference between the ping g430max fairway wood and the HL version …. Who would suit the HL version and what would you play ? Like a lot of people my 3 wood is the most inconsistent club off the deck and obviously know you need the swing speed which I’m not too bad on, but just curious as to wether the new max is easier than the previous with launch or maybe the HL version with the weight at the back and lighter shaft would get me more consistency, I usually play a stiff shaft in all my other clubs …great content as usual …many thanks

Thank U so much 4 the review. I’m leaning toward Callaway’s 5 wood 4A B’Day purchase N the next few weeks ! LOL! I now just need 2 make time 4A fitting! I currently have the Rouge LS Driver and love it ! However, I’m not sure if my current ability is good enough 4 paradigm triple diamond LS fairway wood ? LOL!

how would you compare the Callaway Paradym 3HL to the Stealth 2 HD 3 from Canada

The Ping is a 4, 5 or 6 wood and it is very useful to be able to decide what loft works best for you particularly if you have other woods, hybrids or irons that can’t be adjusted and potentially cover a similar yardage. Also for the cost of these clubs adjustability should come as standard these days.

Def agree. Reason why I didn’t go stealth 2 3 wood (no adjustability). Ping and paradym were top two for me. Also got fitted for a ping lst driver.

Hi you compare these to the Stealth 2 HD 5 wood the dry ball data ? thats the one im leaning to and i am not worried about adjustability ....cheers

Good vid Andy very pleased to at least see a Fivewood review rather than the standard three read reviews let’s face it although they won’t admit it most guys who swing a fairway wood at less than 90 miles an hour will actually hit their Fivewood farther

Ping woods are nice but they were about 15 yards shorter than the Rogue line I currently play. It might be that forward CG.

Replaced my G410 3 wood with a G425 5 wood adjusted down to "4" wood, did the same with a G425 7 wood. Adjustability makes gaping from fairway to irons a snap.

Very por opinion my Friend you should be much objective, you have always favored Ping, remember that the adjustability of a club can't be done during the same round and you can do what ever you want with a ball as Long as you know how to work the ball

The Taylormade 2017 M2 Driver off the tee on average or wide fairways, as well as the Callaway 2016 Bertha Mini 1.5 (12 or 14 degree) on narrow fairways, when fitted with the proper shafts, are THE BEST for my 75 year-old, 85 mph swing speed. I love them so much that I have two of each and would never consider selling or trading them. 😊😊😊
