Around the 6:30 mark, there's a body hanging over a large hole high above the ground, with a narrow plank dangling over the edge. If you look, you can see objects hanging out of its pocket, incticing you to be brave and walk the plank to frisk the pockets for loot. I love how the game is basically baiting you into taking risks for rewards like this. Amazing VR-centric design.

Hello Oasis, I'm a french vr gamer. I was very scared about Alyx that it couldn't keep up to our expectation. But not anymore. It will be awesome and put the virtual reality to the top (hopping that my english was good enough). Ready for the future when I could finally get an Index.

God, I can't wait. Only a little under 3 weeks till launch! The teleportation system seems like it'll work really well with the gameplay honestly, the combat looks pretty fast paced with it compared to some other VR games I've tried. Judging from the footage and screenshots of other combat sections it seems like there'll be lots of different spots to teleport to, and lots of objects in the world to interact with during combat. Very nimble. Interactions look awesome too, I like how the physics don't freak out when you have a bunch of smaller objects interacting with each other like when Alyx dumps the bucket onto the table in the first video. So pumped!!!

The game looks really good, the best VR game and the best physics I have ever seen in a game. I am glad Valve will be releasing tools so players can make their own levels and I look forward to what people come up with that I can play through. I think this is going to be a huge hit if the game is as good as what we perceive in the trailers!! I am very glad I didn't have to wrestle with myself about preordering since I already own the Valve Index as of November.

Amazing. What i'd have loved to have seen in these vids in the corner is the player movements and seeing how they translate. Nevertheless this is the most interesting innovation we've seen in the video games industry since...well....HL2 ?

This game looks awesome. I've been hearing one of the levels. Thrre a grand piano, which is fine tuned to work with knuckles finger tracking. Imagine such a perk in game. Already booked 3 days annual leave for this 🙂. Cant wait to get taste of finger tracking in game. Valve certainly put there heart and soul into this game
