Literally every MacBook charger failure I've seen was from people wrapping the cord too tightly around those hooks and causing a kink near the brick which eventually led to internal cable damage. I also like the hooks but I can see why they would remove them.

Ha! I keep my 2012 MBP around because it’s the only one that runs my Serato on my Rane Sixty Two mixer. Serato & Rane needs to get it together!

Too bad that cameras are now moving past SD cards. Apple is a little late to this party. It would be nice if the port also accepted CFExpress Type A cards as well.

Super thank you! A bit more encouragement for me to get one. My 2014 model (Pro Retina 15 inch, 16GB, 250 GB hard drive) gets red hot when use iMovie for my YouTubes so I sit it on a cooler pad. More of a nuisance though is the way movies take up space from my meagre 250Gb. I now save stuff onto a 2TB drive (plus back up on another) but it's just a pain trying to keep more than 20GB or so available. I know, slovenly bookkeeping is no doubt to blame. However I can probably justify a new one...but can I justify a lovely 16 inch beast like yours??I really don't want to downsize toa 14 inch. I await more persuasion from your channel! Thank you very much. 😃
