For those confused: This spreadsheet was created long before the 6700 XT and 3060 existed. This was discussed in previous installments of the mini-series (linked in the description). Thanks for watching!

crazy how mining performance is what determines a gpus value on the 2nd hand market, a 3070 founders edition will sell for more than a evga 3070ti ftw3 since FEs are guaranteed to be non LHR

Appreciate you taking all that time to prepare these GPU price/value comparisons & presenting and explaining the changes from one period (month/season) to another! And that you don't do this for the purpose of scoring as much views as possible! Thanks!!

The 1650 Super has been one of the best performance per dollar cards since long before the shortage. I luckily bought mine a few months before the shortage started, and paid MSRP.

The 3060 Ti is going to vary as well depending on if it's an LHR card or not, most likely the majority are now, where they weren't in April.

the GPUs are now legend of the past that no one remember anymore

Just finished my first build and the gpu was the only thing I tried to reuse and then the RX 580 took a dump and I just had to pay 450 for a RX 6600. I feel ripped off but guess not that bad. The gpu market is a nightmare.

My rx570 is still holding up. But a 6800xt would be nice

Found a dude the other week on Marketplace selling a PC with SLI GTX 1070s for $700. I jumped on it immediately

Wonderful Video!
Here in Germany prices are even more random.
Checked something similar with WAY less cards, and ... sadly same results, but with more variations.

The only good thing in this video after all is your production!
I always love seeing videos from you in my sub list!

I don't know...I feel like GPU prices will never go back to what we knew. It's been two years. A trend that last so long stops being just a trend....

It's too bad that there's no end in sight. I'm glad I got the gpu I wanted last year and was so relived to not have to check newegg, best buy or camp outside a Micro Center. A lot of people weren't happy with the AIB prices when they first came out and chose not to buy a gpu out of principle and wait to get a founders or reference model and that ended up being a bad move because prices skyrocketed and continue to be high. It would be smarter to pay a little extra and get what you want than waste your time monitoring Discord servers, other websites and camping stores imo. Time is money but I guess it depends on how you value your time.

Thank you for making these videos. They're always very interesting. It's also incredible how the prices increased. The 3060 Ti would be the perfect budged to performance card in MSRP. I'm so happy that I bought the Gigabyte 2070 Super for 515 Euro just before the prices increased tho.

I just scored a ASUS ROG Strix 2080 Super white edition for $600 about 3 weeks ago. Considering it performs pretty much the same as a 3060 ti (albeit at a power consumption increase of around 50-70 watts), and 3060 ti's regularly sell at least $800+, I'd say I got a pretty damn good deal.

GTX 970s seem to go for reasonable prices on my local marketplace. Usually $100-$150, which isn't bad. They're basically the same performance to rx 470s

I FINALLY got a 3060 TI after 11 months on EVGA's wait list. The 2GB 1050 it replaced sold within a few hours on Craigslist for 2x what I paid for it.

warning: don't buy GPUs with 2GB or less of VRAM for current games. I'd aim for 4GB. for 1080p you can get away with 3GB as well.

Also, the GTX 600- and 700-series are awful in DX12. the GTX 750 and 750 Ti lose a little less performance in DX12 than other cards from those series, but I'd aim for the GTX 900 series if you can, certainly if you aim to play current games.

Here in The Netherlands the GTX 960 and 970 can be had for 'good' prices at times, like just €100-125 for a GTX 960 or €150-175 for a GTX 970. If you're patient you can get better deals like the 980 Ti's with full copper coolers I got for €175 each. the 1050 Ti 4GB can be a good option as well if you need a card without external power requirement. Just make sure it's a model w/o that, as some do require external power.

I don't have as much advice for AMD, but usually the 280, 280X, 380, 380X can be had at decent prices. They tend to run loud and hot though, so make sure they don't have any problems. I've seen 580s for good prices as well at times. Blower style versions are the loudest/hottest. If you're in The Netherlands and want one of these AMD cards, I do have a few left. I'm out of Nvidia cards to sell.
