The clash of two of North America’s biggest felines. I just felt lion king vibes the entire time as I was making this video.

American lion may have been slightly bigger but that certainly does not mean it was stronger. Sabertooth was much stronger because it was made of 600 or 800 pounds of pure muscle. It had the body build of a bear. And it was armed with two knives for teeth which gave it a really savage bite. Size does not win a fight. You can argue and deny it all you want.

Actually Smilodon weighed more than 800 pounds, their recent specimen from Uruguay weighed upto 436-453 kgs that is so far the heaviest cat till now. American lion biggest specimen was only 375 kgs.
