I don’t know what it is about the drums. It feels like there’s a lot of compression. They sound like something that would be used on a dubstep track.

Travis’s Mix focuses to much on the low end and low frequencies since he is producing through the ears of a drummer, there is no brightness or glue like this mix has, this sounds mastered

I must be the only one besides a small percentage that grew up with Green Day and Blink and was loving every second of it ('94) and then "Felling This" came out and I was like "what?, ummmm no please no go back to being awesome. IM NOT A 12YR OLD GIRL Blink used to be about being a stupid broke shitty little boy or chick lost and needing others that sound never returned. You hear it in shades but nothing like Dude Rach Cheshire or Mark Tom and Travis Show best live album OF ALL TIME

the last 3 albums have godawful production and I don't see this ever changing, unfortunately... a shame because they still write some solid songs

Some people just dont have an ear for the changes in the mix. I don't think the changes here are drastic but they are noticeable. I think it's possible the drums could have been brought down just a tad more and the vocals brought up a notch but this mix is much more listenable at a loud volume without the drums blowing out your ears.

After listening to this it feels like "they" boycott this song on the original album because this is what blink is, things are not the same Tom was really growing this past years and it seems some people are more focused on the negative, in this song it is also very clear.. Much love RocknRoll 🕊️
