Because majority of the Filipinos are still not that educated about music. That's why many talented singers whose style is different from what is commonly seen and heard will not prosper because many judges are not talented themselves who are looking only for singers who can scream like Regine or hit the highest note register. It's just fortunate that the majority of the judges in the Finals of TNT really saw the raw talent in Janine.

Janine and KZ have two completely different styles.. Both amazing and unique in their own right, I don't know how some people find them "similar" in any way because they are different from each other, in musicality and artistry, and their voice. Very different.
