Buying A DESTROYED Dodge Demon CHEAP At Salvage Auction!?

Two things I like... Dodge Demons and Cheap Cars! So when I saw this absolutely TRASHED Demon at IAA Salvage Auction, I flew clear across the country to check it out!

There's totaled cars, there's TOTALED cars, then there's whatever this Dodge Challenger Demon is... We've bought plenty of badly wrecked Challenger & Charger Hellcats, for parts...

Even after seeing this mess of a Demon in person, I couldn't stop thinking about buying it... Fortunately, it ran at salvage auction the SAME DAY!

We also find a couple nice Corvette Z06, Mustang GT and even wrecked s14 240sx with some ultra rare parts! There's plenty to buy for the shop, but for me? There's only one car...

If you can get that Demon for 20 or less. Go for it. Assuming everything that's not already needing to be replaced isn't Warped. There's a LOT that can be used on it. Including engine and probably even the Blower. The rear end and brakes are also salvageable. The roof is a simple cut off and replace with a base Challenger roof. If worse comes to worst it's already got just about as much weight reduction as possible. Clean it up, cut it up and track it. It's never gonna see a clean title in any form anyway might as well live a new life at the track.

The Bullitts were alway offered in grean as well as black, throughout all the modern versions from SN95, S197 and now the S550

The Viper truck had an early version of the push start. First you insert the key, turn it, then press the start button like a modern mopar.

You must charge the jump pack before using it ! Change for at least five hours before using .

I rebuilt 8 totaled C5 Vettes, 2 of them ZO6's. I got to be on a first name basis with some of the Copart employees. One of the ZO6's I had to replace the roof. It's just glued on so you're heating up chisels with a torch and pounding them in to melt the glue. The last one I did was a torch red 99 FRC (fixed roof coupe) like the ZO6 roofs with 40 K miles. I paid $3900.00 for it and had 7K into it when finished. The front frame was unfixable, so I cut the frame off at the firewall and welded a junkyard one on. I had to replace every body part except the roof and the doors (thank you Ebay, 20 cents on the dollar). That one was the keeper and now has 60K miles. When you're rebuilding Vettes exclusively you stockpile 1-2 of every body and suspension part. When done with one, on average, I'd have 50% of bluebook value into it. I'd discount the price 25% because if the salvage title. The buyer would save 25% and I'd make 25%. That was fun and profitable, but I got tired of it and retired. The most profitable one was a black 2004 with only 6.500 miles on it and wasn't bad at all. the other bidders must have been asleep at the wheel as I got it for $6.800.00 and that was over 10 years ago. It was in and out of my shop in 4 days. I made 9K on that one. A guy bought it for his girlfriend and was the only A/T I rebuilt.

Bullitt Mustangs can come in Black or green guys but those are the only two colors you can get them in.
