5, 8, 13 EMA: Most Accurate Scalping Strategy Tested 100 Times ( + Improved Version )

In this video I will backtest the most accurate EMA trading strategy by Trader DNA to find out it's real win rate. The strategy is based on 3 different length EMA's and a Parabolic SAR indicator.

5, 8, 13 works better with VMA (variable moving average) imo. I'm doing 1:1 on *pullbacks only*, not initial crossovers. also with P. SAR and Heikin-Ashi on range charts. P. SAR is much cleaner on range charts. You wouldn't take the trade when the lines are close together, especially with price zig zagging above and below.

How is it that you are scalping on a 1-hour chart? I thought scalping is performed on a lower time frame such as 1-5 minute charts?

People, please test any strategy before you use real money. Some trading channels care more above clicks than really helping new traders. They will cherry-pick test trades and use very low test data. You need to have at least 100 test trades before you can claim any kind of win rate. Anything lower is just BS click bate. As long as they’re testing 100 or more you know they’re out to be honest and trying to really give you legit info

I checked some forex one-hour charts, and it looks like 5 and 8 crossover give very accurate entry signals if you go in after confirming the next candle after crossover and if you get out when Heikin Ashi gives the first opposite color bar.

if you use it differently it can be successful.first stoploss should be just below the 13 ema and not swing low.
the target should be 1 to 2 instead of 1 to 3.
then you plot the past results and inform the success rate.

So you tested the original strategy using September '22 data, but then tested your improved strategy using April '20 data? Should have used the same time period.
