Artist reflects on Legacy Park portraits project

When Joseph Watson was asked by the City of Las Vegas to immortalize African American trailblazers who helped shaped the Valley, he was in disbelief. Watson has been painting for decades. While his artwork is on display throughout Las Vegas libraries and art galleries, one of his most prized series can be seen at City Hall.

I hope you got permission from each and every one of those people to show their images and exploit the color of their skin man. It would be totally, totally wrong if you're doing this just so you could support your Democrat Party.
