You guys are really great! My father was born in 1922. I have photos of him dressed a todo Pachuco. He was the families dancer and very popular with the ladies at the local dance halls. He went into WWII and returned disabled, lost his hip and knee, and had many steel screws placed. But we got him to dance with all of us girls at our brothers wedding, he still danced like a dream.

I love this, my daddy born 1924 told me about how his dad could dance born 1883. I was a dance student. I asked him to show me & he broke out dancing down the sidewalk at a shopping center. I just wanna put it out there I was 7-8 yrs. I was totally amazed so I followed along & we had a blast that night. People surrounded us to watch. It is one of my favorite memories of learning that my daddy had skills! ❤

Way to go!! How can you not get excited… the music, the dance, the suit, and our cultural representatives. I’m 75 now and don’t remember the pachucos except from my dad’s stories. I would have loved going to a gathering where Pachecos and their ladies were dancing. ❤❤.

This is terrific! My Uncle was born in 1916 and was one of the guys who would go into LA to dance at the end of each week. He told me that if he hadn't been overseas during World War 2, that he likely would've been scooped by the cops or military during the Zoot Suit riots. I'm 60 years old and I still remember him showing me photos of his buddies, of the pretty girls that he danced with and the newspaper clippings that Grandma quietly clipped (Grandpa didn't approve of my Uncle's "antics") kept for him for when he returned.
He still had one of his hats that Grandma saved and the watch chains,

My dad moved to San Francisco when he was a teenager and made friends with these guys. They saved his life! His pictures are still around. 👍😎💕

This is just perfect. The moves, the syncing, the timing, the music, the coat change. This deserves way more views. This is downright perfect, even the loop.

At 66, I can dance just like these guys. I just choose not to, because I don't want show up the young folks, or throw my back out, or have a heart attack.

Me hacen recordar, a Tin-tan. Nuestro inolvidable Pachuco, quien trajera desde Cd. Juarez a Cd. Mexico. ❤❤❤❤❤

My dad was born in 1920 and used to dress like that as a young man in the late 30's, early 40's before he was drafted in 1942, WWII
