New Orleans attack: William & Kate release statement after death of ex-nanny's stepson

William and Kate have paid tribute after it was confirmed a British man, the stepson of an ex-royal nanny, was killed in the New Orleans terror attack on New Year's Day.

Meanwhile Sky News understands the King was made aware of Mr Pettifer's death through official channels, was deeply saddened, and has been in touch with the family to share personal condolences.
