Epic first 3D Printer review dudes, been waiting to see how you'd tackle them and didn't disappoint :) Note that you didn't have supports on for any of those prints - the dags you saw on the first firepole are from the extruder oozing a little as it moves between columns. Support material from cura, when dialed in, is easy to pull away and super handy. Good Luck!

I bought my UltiMaker 2 at Xmas after 2 days usage it is now defect. contacted the UM support they suggested to return the unit for a replacement/refund within 14 days to the official dealer..
phoned the dealer & they offered a refund so i returned my unit. Now they are telling me they cannot refund because the unit is defect.
Either i accept a 3-4 weeks repair or i accept the refund minus the repair costs - Great service that is!

There are lots of businesses that use FDM printing. When I worked at an aerospace parts company, we used it for electronic housings and all sorts of internal parts (brackets, spacers, etc) for in flight entertainment with Ultem 9085. We had Fortus 400MC machines. They also had 2 nozzles. one for material and one for support.

I love 3D printers. My highschool got a 3d printer on my senior year, and my 3D animation teacher let me abandon all course material and animate thing to print, and create a scanning box that you can place objects in and record a video of that turns your object into a printable animation. The printer we had was insanely expensive, and worked like a charm. It was so much fun, i'm disappointed i'll probably never get to work with something like that again.

@LinusTechTips You guys have to try the Ninjaflex material!! Be aware, if you do try it and go over 10-20mm/s you'll have a mess on your build tray.

Also, ENABLE RETRACTION so you don't get the silly whispers when the head moves from one point to the next!

I've used and Ultimaker 2 and it was amazing. They are really quite as you said and the print quality and speed was also amazing. Also... they look awesome. If I could afford one I would get one.

I would love to see a custom mineral oil PC case built with this thing, It would be epic. Since the only company that did make the case has closed down.. Plus you could sell/or give away the blueprints for those at home to make the case or pay a company to make it off of your blueprints. Please I beg you.
