Best tip I've seen is to add a teaspoon of water to the spirit. This way you burn off hydrocarbon and not carbon. Much less black soot to clean.

The bit I like best about this video is where you actually use it in the field.

I had one of those Coleman stoves years ago, I used it for a long time. Never let me down. Yeah, you can use lesser refined fuels like unleaded petrol, but if you use shellite you have almost no soot or bad fumes. Try doing that with kerosene in cold weather! I always thought of it as a Lunar Lander because of the three fold out legs. Would buy another in a heartbeat if I could find one. Recently bought a Trangia 25 set, and happy with it.

They are the best, ive got the 25-5 ultralight non-stick for about 3 years now and love it. Oh by the way, you have to flip out the 3 tabs so the frypan sit on it, not like you have shown in your vid ( but you might of worked that out by now ) .
