Simple RC Series Circuit

** THIS VIDEO ASSUMES THAT YOU UNDERSTAND HOW TO SOLVE FIRST ORDER DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS AND HOW A CAPACITOR SHOULD BEHAVE IN A CIRCUIT **

This is just a short video on a series RC circuit. More specifically, we solve for the output voltage (the voltage across the capacitor) for a circuit that contains only a DC voltage source, a resistor, and a capacitor in series.

A few things you should take away from this video and this circuit:
1. The capacitor will act as a short at time (t) = 0.
2. The capacitor will act as an open at t = infinity.
3. The maximum current that can flow through the capacitor is Vin/R. The current will decrease exponential from there.

Wish you showed everything and didn't pull a blue Peter. It's so hard to find a a recourse with everything in one place. We can skip ahead if we already know something but we can't see what's not there if we feel unsure about a leap that you make.

can you please show examples of the ZIR, ZSR and complete response?

I don't really get why at i(0)=Vin/R
