2025 International Year of Glaciers Preservation

As part of the 2025 International Year of Glaciers Preservation, UNESCO is launching an interactive exhibition on glaciers to raise awareness and inspire action for a sustainable future. Dive into the importance and fragility of glaciers and discover how you can take action to preserve them.

This interactive exhibition is a joint effort between UNESCO Intergovernmental Hydrological Programme (IHP), Man and the Biosphere Programme (MAB) and the World Heritage Center (WHC) to raise awareness around glaciers and mountains preservation from climate change.
