To add, you can also dangle an ever-distant promotion in front of them for their expected lifecycle. After that they can be ignored, but usually you can milk a good handful of months out of people before they give up. The real gullible ones go for years due to "loyalty" or some such. I don't pay them to make loyalty programs LOL
