DONT give the horses apples.... it ferments in there stomach and they get tummy aches. That's like one of the main feeding rules. SHAY please talk to an equestrian to understand how to look after them, its really difficult. I've had horses since I was 3 and I'm still making constant mistakes :) so don't worry that you made one:)
