1. They abuse and mock their fans/customers
2. They desecrate and insult their past
3. They increase the cost of their parks while the quality declines drastically
4. They produce wildly over-budget movies and shows that fail more often than not
5. They make everything about politics and DEI

I can keep going

"Why Does Disney Stock Keep DROPPING?" Because they hate their customer base, and it's painfully apparent in everything they do.

Politics, laziness and arrogance. That's why.

Disney is more concerned about DEI than making good content. 😢

The stock price of a company largely reflects the confidence people have in the company. Disney's prices are low because they lost that consumer confidence. You see the same problem with Square Enix, which is pretty much hitting a 5 year low right now.

The price will keep dropping because it's a horrible investment.

This has been coming for a while. I used to work customer service jobs. In all the training, Disney used to be one of the examples of great customer service and was referenced often in training. About 15 years ago, they stopped mentioning Disney. Fast forward to today, and Disney is getting bad reviews for customer service left and right. Disney used to make things right before you left and even if you had an issue, it was handled quickly and on the spot. How the mighty have fallen.

Disney offers no escapism during increasingly difficult times, and that's entertainment's ONE job.

It’s easy to figure out. Five major box office flops. Dropping revenues from less hotel reservations, amusement park attendance, less merchandise being sold. All of this because Disney has priced themselves out of the market on all those things.

We completely de-Disneyfied our family years ago. At one time we had Disneyland passes for three years straight. Now we’d never consider going to one of their parks or movies. It wasn’t some dramatic boycott or anything. Disney just grosses us out and we know they hate us. I’m sure we’re not the only ones. Disney is relying on their weird adult fans to pay the bills now and that’s not going to be enough to grow.

Ignoring merit is bad for any business. Investors are not paying to know the numbers.

After Peltz lost the investor vote there was 3 straight months of "Analysts say Disney stock is a MUST BUY" as the stock price dropped lower and lower... I noticed that they aren't putting those articles out anymore. It's getting harder and harder to deny that the house of mouse is in trouble.

She didn't mention all the upcoming lawsuits and exposure of illegal racist hiring practices. Could be a factor too.

The shareholders voted to keep Iger in, and a few months later the stock predictabily plummets. Investors are truly the dumbest people ever.

Simple: the years of Iger's scandals and corruption far outweigh one hit movie.

3:10. The explanation for Safra Catz’s resignation is very simple.

She is the CEO of Oracle, and Skydance Media announced on July 7 its intention to buy a controlling stake in Paramount, a competitor of Disney.

Skydance Media was founded by David Ellison, the son of Oracle’s founder, Larry Ellison.

Huge conflict of interest. She had no choice but to resign. Nothing fishy, simply a conflict of interest.

Its dropping because one box office hit doesn't help stagger the immense amount of debt they have thanks to their failures for the past few years. Disney won't change, and as a result the stocks won't change either.

Well, one of the biggest revenue source for Disney is the licensing of their products. My uncle's factory is producing school bags and similar things for children. He paid almost 30.000$ for 3 disney characters (one of them is Donald Duck) for a single year to paint on the bags! That is a lot of money for our eastern European country especially since Disney does not care about those characters anymore. The school children today does not know Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck as we knew them at 1980s. So, he refused to buy the licence again.

Spending so much money for a trip to a second rate theme park with long lines, drunken brawls and broken rides ...no thank you.

I don't think there's anything they can do to prevent it from dropping. They have done so much damage to the industry and it is beyond repair.
