Cool video. I am a photographer from the Salem area who loves central Oregon. I am heading from the southern coast to the Steens and north from there this summer. I tend to do the northern 2/3 and not the southerm parts, so that is my focus.

Thanks for sharing.

We are not "empty" we are totally full to capacity. Do not come here... you are not welcome...stay away...seriously!

Klamath Falls here 👋
Most of the locals like the mix between rural Oregon culture and the career opportunities here (OIT, KCC, our giant hospital and now Amazon). Rent is decent and people are nice enough.
Recently, though, we have had a massive influx of out-of-state cars so this all might be changing soon.

I live in Baker County. Stay away cause you won’t like it!

Everything in Oregon and Washington revolves around the western part of the state especially along the I-5 corridor from Bellingham, WA to Medford, OR.

My mom was from Burns, spent many weekends showing us kids her favorite places. I love it there, I just can't take the cold winters. I moved from crowded Mt Hood area to Southern Oregon. Nice and quiet, just what I want.
Everyplace in this country will have something you don't like about it, I chose for the weather. People are the same the world over, some are A holes and some are nice. 😊

Great video Bryan. I know the entire story of Rajnish's so it was quite nostalgic to see you adding that.

I grew up in John Day, and still live in NE Oregon. There is a lot here, especially distance!

Hermiston Or here. Some of us don't like the big city. This little town suits us just fine.

I’ve been out there many times adventuring from Alturas to Lakeview, Burns, Mcdermitt to Jordan Valley and Steens to Bend. Exactly one tank of gas in my Jeep gets me to Willow Creek Hot springs from Burns, roundtrip. I love it all. I think you’re all safe out there, aside from some tourists. 99% of people wouldn’t be able or don’t want to live remotely in day to day life. Maybe for vacation but not 365 days. People tend to like their conveniences to stay convenient if you know what I mean. See you this summer.

I haven't really been to Eastern Oregon. I want to check it out someday, especially Wallowa County.

The High desert is a terrible place to live. Whatever you do, don’t move here.

I here California is a nice place to live.

As someone who lives in, and grew up in southwest Idaho, the only difference I see is legal weed.

I actually did a large project at Rajneesi land, now Washington Family Ranch. It's an AMAZING part of Oregon. Watch the video... you will be glad you did.

Some of the best grazing country I’ve ever seen. Southeast Oregon.
