live near bordeaux tip if budget stay on tram line transport is very good -- nicer hotels suburbs / tram not train so much / wine testing centre // history opera house - old city v good - centre gets busy // full of tourists // - vineyard visits are nice but book advance cheaper // can rain then it pours // river tours // museums tourist offices good // pack luches evening treats restaurents superb // wine food excellent // centre can be pricey // like a minature paris but more relaxed // - check review websites -
