I love the intro of the silver shoes, but switching them to red in the Wizard of Oz was truly a stroke of brilliance. Now we have both!

I’m a firm believer that no one can ever top Idina Menzel’s performance but this is the first time ever this musical will be made into a movie, so I’m curious how they are gonna play this out.

I don’t know if I’ll like this AS much as the stage version, but nevertheless it looks great and worth waiting 17 years for. 😂 I was anticipating a Wicked movie in 2007….and was really hoping Idina and Kristin would reprise their roles. Of course they’ve aged out now. I’d love to see them cameo.

The CGI looks incredible in this and that has me sold on the movie. Of course the Broadway musical is legendary so that will bring in fans too.

Still not totally sure about the casting but I am intrigued to check this out. Wish we saw more of Fiyero in the trailer. Also I'm confused as to why we saw Dorothy. Wouldn't she not come until the second act?

I was wondering how they'd make green skin look on screen 85 years after showing it on the antagonist in The Wizard of Oz. I think Cynthia Erivo looks great.

Cynthia Erivo has had me by the throat since I first heard her in the color purple. Harriet just helped solidify my love for her. Now seeing her take on a role I would LOVE to perform is just- ugh my heart. The last note, of defying gravity. I can’t wait! November is my one year anniversary with my husband and I know he’s not going to want to see this but he owes me for making me watch Dune 1&2 within the same day.
