Looking to build my first retro PC from around this era. Period cases are beyond my budget, so I was planning on spraying a cheap new one in glorious beige lol. Definitely go with a classic case if you have it.

Was cool to see that PC publication with system specs and pricing. That kind of stuff is really interesting to me and almost impossible to find. I really wish I held onto some early diy catalogues you'd find at 90s computer shows, but they were printed so cheaply and stuff went obsolete so fast, nobody in their right mind would keep it.

you should change out those choyo capacitors with good brand capacitors like rubycon or nichicon or panasonic.
