I 100% Ghost Of Tsushima in the first 3 months it was out. Hands down one of my favorite games of all time. I think you can't point fingers in this. Yes, they both are set in feudal Japan with a female protagonist. Yes, they both have 15th-century guns, and that one weapon that's a small scythe with a chain and ball, and yes, they both are sequels of stealth games. I had expectations of AC Shadows, and although the gameplay does share a lot in common with Ghost of Tsushima, and what is supposed to be in Ghost of Yotei, you can't just instantly claim that a game with the same mechanics is a copy. They will both be great games. The real question is... who is winning GOTY? I think it's between Oblivion Remaster and GTA 6. The remake of the pioneer of western rpgs, or the most anticipated game of all time.

Ghost of Tsushima took inspiration from Assassins Creed and (for the most part) did everything better. So of course Shadows is going to take inspiration from Ghost. That being said, Ghost is basically still better in every way

The only problem with the AC Shadows is Yasuke.

Although his presence makes the story interesting.

But it's not historically accurate that's the reason why people are complaining about it (but I'm not, because I'm here for the game not for the history).

The gameplay was pretty solid though.

I played both and it's not a copy of Ghost Tsushima.

Those who say "it's a copy of Ghost of Tsushima" they are not even tried it.

i played the game and i am that first dude that walked in lmao.
"you completed all objectives in this location sound" ring me some bells.
shadows: choosing your abilities at the bottom.
ghost: choosing bow and arrow and/or stance on your katana.

screen changing colours when giving killing blow to your enemies (this one made me sure they wanted to do rip off i can understand others are just similar mechanics but this one. why?)

People lack the ability to think for themselves, and being black or a woman in a game isn't "woke" the only valid concern is the ubisoft aspect of it all and if they can bounce back with this one. I don't want it to fail and to me it looks good. Also funny people comparing it to Ghost are probably the same ones bashing the new Ghost of Yotei because omg a woman lol

Still in the belief that the story of LOU2 was consistent, followed logic of the world and wholly unique for being a game that delivered a world shattering twist in act 1. Brave as hell. Can’t stand woke baiting in the industry but for me LOU2 was genius.

One thing I’ll always say is if you wanna trash a game but don’t wanna play it, at LEAST watch ONE play through. It doesn’t even have to be a 100% play through, just a straight story play through.
