My dad was in the army and my grandfather was in the national guard. My cousin just finished his deployment in Japan in the Air Force as a fire fighter. Also have friends and co workers who are veterans as well. I respect them more then they know!!

My pops was in the military as well. And just like yourself he didn’t talk about it much because of the hell he endured overseas. He wasn’t present in my life much but I will always respect the fact that he fought for our country.

My father a 30 + year Marine Core Vet retired as a Major in the late 90’s. He rose through the officer ranks pretty quickly. He was in the aviation program but was attached to a ground unit as his first assignment when promoted to Lt. He flew many different aircraft which included but was not limited to the CH-46 (helicopter) and C130 (airplane). He has my upmost respect as he was and still is an amazing man, husband, father, and grandfather. He is a very selfless man and has done so much for so many. I would love to win this for him as a small appreciation to all that he has done for my family and our great nation. Keep up the amazing work down there in SC!

This would be awesome. Grand fathers served WWII in air force and Army and have 2 cousins who served and they played football, this would be a cool thing to have for them

I am an Asian American, Korean, adopted by caucasian parents. And my adoptive grandfather actually fought in the Korean war. He lost part of his in battle and was given the purple heart. He his now deceased and died peacefully in his sleep. It’d be a great honor to win this helmet in honor of him. I’d even go ahead and add a Korean flag for the war that he fought both for him, the U.S and for me.

My grandfather's brother served during world war II. He was a flight sergeant and a captain within the B17 and Lancaster division. One night they were flying over Dusseldorf Germany to complete a mission. That night amidst an ambush many planes had been gunned down, however, his squadron persisted. a Notorious German fighter jet named the 'Junkers Jew' shot out the left engine. As a captain and without a second doubt he made the only decision he could; to bail out his crew while he kept the plane steady and level. He went down with the plane - and his body was never recovered. His crew survived and made it home to their families. Winning this would mean a lot to my grandfather and my great uncle's legacy.

Both of my Grandfathers were Tank Drivers in WW2 and were a massive part in the take down of Germany during those horrendous time. Growing up I always wanted to join but a football injury left me unable to. I decided to serve my local community instead as a police officer. I’ve had 2 close friends lose their lives in Afghanistan fighting for our freedom also. This helmet would be displayed so proudly for all to see!

My family has along history of serving. Grandfather was in Navy, Uncle jumped out of a plane in the invasion of Normandy. My dad was in the marines, . My cousin served in Vietnam, I have a cousin & brother-in-Law that served in Iraq. I myself was a medic in the Air Force and served in Desert Shield & Desert Storm. My family supports all military and life revolves around football Friday through Sunday.m during football season. Son currently is a senior in High School and plays High School football. Would love to give this to him to honor our family heritage.
