This video takes a look at the absolutely marvelous, yet simple, proof by Torricelli regarding the paradoxical Gabriel's Horn. Even to this day, the paradox seems apparent but Torricelli, with just his wits, stunned the mathematical world by finding its volume.

Act of Learning is an YouTube Channel about exploring some of the mind blowing ideas in math. More importantly, rather than just solving problems, we try to understand the underlying concepts using the problems merely as examples.

The name of the channel is an excerpt from a quote by Gauss, the Prince of Mathematics and my second favorite of all mathematicians. He said "It is not knowledge but the act of learning that grants the greatest enjoyment". 100% correct.

You know what YouTube is like. So please Like, Share and Subscribe the Channel, and show us your continued support.
