We have some great news. We have been working to restore the 59L Flathead Motor that inspired this group. We are taking donations and working hard to find sponsors which many have come forward including the very first one to offer their support. OFFENHAUSER!

Yesterday the Flat-Spot took delivery of the first donated set of parts from Offy. Who graciously sent us a 2x2 intake and a brand new set of heads. This was an amazing start to this project and has really inspired me to keep pushing to get this done.
The motor will be rebuilt as a performance engine that we plan to mount to a running stand and have available to view and hear at shows and events. The motor will also be featured in videos and it is our plan that I will be donating it to the Flat-Spot organization as a permanent mascot when the group has finished all its paperwork and transitions into a full Educational Non-Profit. Which is coming along well. We’re still looking for several parts so if you have anything you would like to donate to the project let me know.

Special thanks to our sponsor Offenhauser for their great help with getting this project kicked off. If you would like more information on where to get the best Offy has to offer check out their retail dealer White Owl Speed Equipment. They commonly keep parts that most dealers don’t. Also, Offy is one of the few companies still making the same great parts in the USA!

All purchases go toward supporting our group and keeping this channel going.
