[MOFA NEWS] Korea-Cambodia / Mekong-ROK Foreign Ministers’ Meetings

Foreign Minister Chung Eui-yong had a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia Prak Sokhonn on September 8. After their talks, the two ministers presided over the 11th Mekong-ROK Foreign Ministers’ Meeting as co-chairs. The two sides agreed to extend “the Mekong-ROK Exchange Year 2021” to the year 2022, and to continue to work together for the successful holding of the third Mekong-ROK Summit in October this year.

정의용 외교부 장관은 ⌜쁘락 소콘(Prak Sokhonn)⌟ 캄보디아 부총리 겸 외교장관과 9.8.(수) 회담을 가졌습니다. 동 회담에 이어, 양 장관은 올해 한-메콩 공동의장국으로서 ‘제11차 한-메콩 외교장관회의’를 주재하였습니다. 양측은 금년 한-메콩 협력 10주년을 기념하는‘2021 한-메콩 교류의 해’를 2022년까지 연장하기로 합의하고, 올해 10월로 예정된 한-메콩 정상회의의 성공적 개최를 위해 지속 협력해 나가기로 하였습니다.
