The Countess of Wessex looks absolutely gutted. Lord Severn looked like he was trying very hard not to cry and Zara looked like she was trying to hold back tears as well. Her Majesty had to be smiling down at her grandchildren as they did her proud today.

Sophie and Edward must be incredible proud of their children, they are so beautifully mannered, they loved the Queen and the Queen loved them dearly, they spent a lot of time with her. The Queen also shared a beautiful close and loving relationship with Anne’s and Andrew’s lovely children, they were all blessed to have the Queen has their granny who loved them dearly.

I adore Sophie. She is real, authentic, and her kindness and love for the Queen shows through. No fake crocodile tears here. No self-aggrandizement. She isn’t plotting her next move or making sure the angles are showing her at her best.

I cried, too. Sophie and Edward have been rock solid. All the senior royals have. I hope after the funeral they take a few days in private to cry all they need. This has been so hard seeing how much they're all suffering. I wish them all the best in the future and that happiness is right around the corner.

As I watched I wanted to hug Sophie & Edwards children, The Queen would have been so very proud of all 8 grandchildren. I wish I could have given Sophie a hug too.

The two teenagers were simply superb, as were their parents, Sophie and Edward. I was moved to tears watching the silent tribute to their Grandmother, OUR Grandmother, Her Late Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II

That took some serious courage. Their grief was clear but their devotion to duty was equally strong. Sophie and Edward have every right to be incredibly proud of the way their children have conducted themselves.

I cried during the vigil by her grandchildren...and young James....I just wanted to hug him. Very fitting tribute by all the Queen's grandchildren(not including the great grands)

I can definitely relate to them, in a way. My grandfather was like a local hero in his hometown that when he died, we were overwhelmed of the attention from the people we didn't know. Me and my cousins have the average age as James' that time as we took part in a certain tradition similar to this. My heart goes out to the youngest grandchildren who are most vulnerable at the moment.
