Great seeing Mal back in the studio again- feels like it's been ages. Seriously loving all the different purples in this painting. Can't explain what's so satisfying about the ASMR of the brush hitting the canvas- it's almost therapeutic cuz you know it always leads to great things.
I started painting a bit over the last couple years but it's been months since my last one. Ideas aren't coming as easy as they used to. I have something in mind for my next one but I'm hesitant about it because I want it to be an evening shot and I'm not entirely sure how to make that happen without making everything just look black with no decipherable details :P
