I have a 1960's Crisloid Board. It is still going strong. Great Boards.

Love my Crisloid board. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a board.

What I love the most is getting a modern day Crisloid board and combining a set of vintage Bakelite/Catalin checkers. That is such a beautiful thing to do. As long as you do it with the 1.5 inch size with their Champion boards. I have a classic brown tabletop board but what makes this one special for me is putting a set of Brown and Butterscotch Bakelite checkers with it. In my opinion it looks and feels much better than with modern day Crisloid checkers. I also have an attached Champion custom board that I paired with a set of Red and Butterscotch Bakelite checkers. I went with the Legacy points in red and white. The case is classic black with black leather dice cups. I'm a sucker for vintage game products and Crisloid has that in spades.

My first tournament-size board was a Crisloid. I actually don't mind the cork. It excites me to think the playing area may look exactly the same 50 years from now.
I've enjoyed it for chouettes, and I've recommended a Crisloid to anyone I know that is new to backgammon. It's a great value, buy-it-for-life product.

Red Crisloid board owner bought in the 80s for $60. NEBC used customized tabletop in its tournaments back in the day....

The first board I bought was a Crisloid and it is a very well made board. The cork field is ok, but I would prefer a felt field. The surface is slippery in that it is too easy for the checkers to be bumped out of their position. Great company to work with as mine was customized and it looks great.

One of the best don't-break-the-bank boards, but I am not a fan of the cork surface. The main problem with the cork is it'll pit. Looking forward to see the felt boards.

Why don't we see more Crisloid boards during live streams?

I bet FTH is doing the felt. They have a few boards with Crisloid checkers on their site
