MY EXCHANGE YEAR || AFS Norway

This year I moved to Norway as an exchange student and I documented whole journey. I decided to make one final video to show all of my favorite memories and thank everyone who made this year the best year of my life. I hope you enjoy :)

I love this, I was an exchange student in the US (im norwegian) in 2016, and I encourage everyone to do the same. I 100% agree that it was the best year of my life! I've visited my host family twice since, and some of my friends from the US have visited me in Norway once. They are truly friendships for life - I hope you'll come back to Norway soon to make up for the lost time because of Corona. :)

I cried a bit haha. I hope that my exchange year in the US will be just as good as yours was in Norway. Btw, have you watched the norwegian tv series called Skam? If you haven’t seen it you really should! It’s one of my favorite shows ever and I learned a lot of Norwegian from it as a finn.

i know that its NOWHERE near what kids already on exchange had to deal with (my frienf was devastated when she had to go home) but my summer exchange was cancled. ive been binging all sorts of exchange videos to live vicariously though yall haha

Loved the video!!! I am doing an exchange to Finland soon(hopefully) and was wondering how much of the language you knew before you got to Norway if any? Like would you have struggled in school if you were a total beginner?
