Not sure about this one. Mobile devs on average get paid more than web devs. ON AVERAGE. Not only that, but one could argue that mobile is the future.

Medical centers, Insurance companies, stores, groceries, fashion industry, startup companies and many more all need android developers to make applications for their products and services. That was a super narrow point of view.

Rod is focusing on the idea of "You, competing with top apps". Remember, as those apps gain popularity and as new apps boom. New people will also get the idea of "Hey, I have an app idea, I have money, now I need a developer". Thus further increasing the demand in devs. Its really bias to base your opinion on well developed companies like facebook, or a well financed company like Tiktok. But hey, who am I to talk. Im just an Android dev who got hired by learning Android dev in 6 months with no CS degree. But yeah, demand is low. Cheers

As an Android dev, the job is OKAY but the clients 😞😞😞.... not so good. they were like "LOOK!!!! I know nothing about the app but wanna deploy it to production NOW!"
