Νέα κρίση φαίνεται ότι ξέσπασε ανάμεσα στη Λιβύη και στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο, με αφορμή κάποια αρχαία αντικείμενα, που μεταφέρθηκαν στο Λονδίνο, από την χώρα της βόρειας Αφρικής, το 1817.
Αυτά δεν είναι άλλα, από τμήματα αρχαίων κτισμάτων, όπως κολόνες, ενεπίγραφες πλάκες, κλπ., που βρισκόντουσαν στα ρωμαϊκά ερείπια της πόλης Leptis Magna, της Νεάπολης στα Ελληνικά, και που σήμερα βρίσκεται η πόλη Χομς.

A new crisis seems to have broken out between Libya and the United Kingdom, on the occasion of some ancient artefacts, which were transported to London, from the North African country, in 1817.
These are none other than parts of ancient buildings, such as columns, inscriptions, etc., which were found in the Roman ruins of the city of Leptis Magna, of Neapolis in Greek, and where the city of Homs is today.
