Great-fully the puppies are giving Nanny, Anita and Roger kisses when there putting on there collars it shows how much they love there owners just as much as there owners love them to right guys!

That guy singing in the background was Nat Cole who sang When I fall in Love at my parents wedding. Sadly the song was played at my dad’s funeral. Lovely singing voice.

Ah yes....back when Disney used REAL animals (for the most part...I know there are some CGI moments in this movie) and not creepy looking CGI when animating animals in their live action movies. This is one of the reasons why 101 Dalmatians is one of the BEST live action Disney remakes. Glenn Close was PERFECTLY cast as Cruella, I liked the chemistry between Roger and Anita (and Pongo and Perdita) the puppies were very adorable, and I liked how you could read the dogs' emotions, even when they were alone. Like the scene where Perdita discovers the puppies have been stolen. You can SEE her pain in this scene. You don't see this emotional storytelling in the newer Live action movies with JUST CGI characters.

Before anyone says Pepper is a boy in the story One Lucky Pup, it's not true and is considered non-canonical. The original book, the 1961 animated film, 1996 live action and the cartoon series, confirmed that she is a girl. In the 1961 film, Pepper was seen next to Penny and wearing a blue collar while watching Thunderbolt. In the 1996 live action, she wears a pink collar like Jewel and her sisters.

I found an article that said that Pongo & Perdita had 8 boy puppies (Lucky, Patch, Rolly, Freckles, Fidget, Dipstick, Whizzer, & Thunder) and 7 girl puppies (Penny, Pepper, Jewel, Two-Tone, Cadpid, Purdy, & Spotty).

I love this live action. It adjusted small things and made sure it appeased both kids and adult fans. Some of these Newer Live Actions could learn a thing or two from this one.

Plus it has its own sequel which isn’t bad at all.

I love how the puppies changed the channel when they realized that's the wrong movie for them; and then they watch Homeward Bound, another Disney classic.
