Swift Response of Defender 23 – We Are NATO

A U.S. Airman from the 303rd Fighter Squadron joins Exercise Swift Response 23. This is only a part of a much wider U.S.-led exercise called DEFENDER 23, which takes place in several countries.
DEFENDER 23 is a U.S.-European Command directed multi-national, joint exercise designed to build readiness and interoperability between the U.S. and NATO Allies and partners.
DEFENDER 23 is taking place from 22 April to 23 June and includes more than 7,000 U.S. and 17,000 multi-national servicemembers from more than 20 Allied and partner nations.
