The song reminds me of the feeling I get when I go to a restaurant/park/store that only I seem to know about. When I'm there, I can't believe how wonderful it is, while simultaneously being surprised at how it seems to exist just for me. The possessiveness I feel for something wonderful that doesn't belong to me; something which deserves to be loved and appreciated by all, but through some shortsightedness has been overlooked. And of course the worry that follows: that someday people will know how wonderful the secret things I cherish are, and that my love for them will be somehow diminished.
