Mahua Moitra, the TMC candidate, is currently leading in the Krishnanagar Loksabha seat by over 48,000 votes. Initially trailing, she faced tough competition against Amrita Roy, the Queen Mother of Krishnanagar. However, she managed to turn the tables and take the lead in this crucial constituency. As of 12:50 pm, Moitra is ahead by 48,228 votes, while Amrita Roy, the first runner-up, has received 170,995 votes.
