Wow I'm just baffled. I've owned the 1505 for about 2 years now, not my most common carry but I always thought "Man this would be perfect if it could carry an extra blade" well today I learned I've been blind. Thank you great presentation as always!

Currently working in a warehouse and I carry the 1501. It’s been my work EDC for 4 months now, being able to cut strapping and string without opening the knife up is super handy. As soon as the blade gets any packing tape residue on it the play pretty much stops. Excellent content as always my friend, thanks for sharing.

100% the 6-in-1... I shrugged this off when I first heard of it but I now think it brilliant as I reach for it more often than most of my other multitools.

I can tell by the texture of your hands you have the experience to provide the following review. Thank You. I own the 1505 version and love it.

Awesome video! I didn't know my screwdriver fastback had an extra blade storage. 10/10 video. Significantly improved my life!

I bought a pack at Home Depot that included the 1500 and 1502. Both are fantastic but I really love the extra blade storage of the 1502.

Another great review. Agree that you can't go wrong with any of them. I have the 00, 02 and 05. Definitely love the functionality 02 & 05. But when running around the house where everything I may need is minutes away, I appreciate the compactness of the 00

I had a 1501 for a long time until I lost it so I went out and got the 1505 and I have not been disappointed. I was a little worried at first about it being plastic, but it uses a high-quality durable plastic so I have no worries. For my purpose the driver bit that comes with it is not as useful and finding dual headed bits that fit is a bit tricky, but after months of searching I did find one that fit my needs.

Great review thank you Sir I am buying the 1501 version today and your video helped me decide this. Have a great day from England UK.

Thanks for breaking this down for us! I started using a a Fastback as a professional Photography Assistant in my 20's. I'd often need to cut up foam core, usually against concrete floors. I've ended up collecting the 1500, 1501, and 1502 over the years.I keep one in the kitchen, one by the front door, and another in my office, now mostly for Amazon boxes and packaging. Feels like I need to pick up a 1505 to round out the collection!

The 1505 has a pretty big flaw if you work in dusty/dirty/rocky areas or with areas of rough movement. The screwdriver bit will sometimes come loose while closed and wedge the screwdriver in the closed position. depending on the bit that's in use, and its position, you'll have to grab a pair of needle nose pliers and start trying to wiggle it back in place. This is a problem because the clearance for the bit upon opening is extremely close. I suggest filing down a bit of the plastic to add more clearance. It helps. Also triple checking that no debris is between the driver and the bit helps as well.

The 1505 is the one I reach for all the time. Just nice to have a #2 square in my pocket.

i have the 1502 and im never looking back.
already have an all in one, portable screw driver set and i want to cut stuff. not multitask for a couple days and have to drive back to home depot to pick up more blades. its simple and does what i want. to cut a lot, safely and easily.

Had the 6in1 on me every day for about a year, preferred it over the 4 leathermans I own😂

I’ve carried the 1502 for years and just bought the 6 in 1. I do like the feel and more narrow profile in my hand of the 1502 vs the 6 in 1 but it may just be because I’ve been carrying it so long and that is what I’m used to. I also noticed that the flipping action of the 6 in 1 is not as free as my old 1502. Maybe because it is new and will become more free over time and use. Regardless, this line of utility blades are the best I’ve ever used.

And depending on which one you have.... some are right handed some are left.... if you look at the blade release. Some favor the right handed.. some favor left... in case anyone didn't know that

I watched your videos and Zach in the wild. I had been carrying a rather thick dewalt utility knife. After the information the I got from the videos I went to Ace Hardware and picked up a 1505. I look forward to having it in my work edc along with my Leatherman Super Tool 300( want to upgrade to the surge) and Buck 110. Thanks for your time and sharing your knowledge and experience with us.

G’day, Ben, excellent review, thank you. The bit holder of the 1505 can hold the Wiha double-ended bits, so that is another nice feature. I should clarify that I have a newer 1505 which has a ball detent holding the bit in place and I’m not sure if the older model like yours would do the same, but worthwhile giving it a go.
