Shannon Walker, founder of Northwest Battle Buddies is on a mission with KOA, a lovable and energetic puppy, to help soldiers with PTSD. Over the course of the series, we see KOA grow and develop as he learns the skills necessary to become a fully-fledged service dog. From his early training sessions to his final certification test, we witness the hard work, dedication, and love that goes into creating a life-changing partnership for those in need.
