Economics starts with the word scarcity. But what is scarcity? Scarcity is the idea that we cannot have everything we want
As much as we would like to have everything, there are limits that keep us from having everything.
What are these limits? Scarce Resources Why are these resources scarce? because they are hard to find
Money is a great example. Let’s say you want a phone and a laptop but you don’t have enough to buy both, you are forced to choose between the two. Even if you do have enough money to buy both you still need to choose to buy those things or buy other stuff.
You can never have enough money which makes this a scarce resource
Time is another scarce resource.
So, What is Economics? Economics is the study of how people
make decisions given the scarce resources that are provided to them. But it is not just about people it is also about businesses and governments make decisions as well.
Economics is a study of how society as a whole, uses its resources.

you can never have enough money to buy everything. you will always have to choose between something and something else. its all about the choices you make on what to spend the money on.. i never saw it that way until now.
