Just down load the app and watched several tutorials. Technology for Teacher.... is THE BEST -- Simple, easy to follow and well done.

Great tutorial. Thank you very much.
I am brand new with this, and needed to get an overview, and your tutorial certainly did that.

on your top right corner there is the media option. when you click on that it will show you the media available in your photos and movies :)

You can probably drop in your images and media file via the icon at the top right hand side, at the top, where it says 'media'. The interface is very similar to pages and that is how it would work there.

Excellent step by step tut!! Thank you!! Is it possible to link my iBook to my site for interaction and feedback ? As in add a link or better still from a widget with an invite to chat about the book on my site?

Hi, I'm trying to write an ePub using iBook author. Using a template, but can't find any way to add blank pages. Got any suggestions.

To add a glossary entry, highlight a word in your text, right-click, from the drop-down menu choose "Create Glossary Term from Selection". The word will then be added to your glossary and a new window will appear. Here you may edit the definition. Now the glossary term will appear as a pop-up that includes a dictionary definition on your iPad's iBook when you Preview and when it's published. (The way shown will not create the pop-up)

Thank you very much for the tutorial. It`s really helpful. I have one question wich I could`t find out by myself. There are "landscape" and "portrait" formats. I´m writing from Germany, we call it "Querformat" and "Hochformat". But what I can`t find anywhere is the Size of the Page, the Format! In Germany we have so called "Din Format" that means "german industrial norm". (Deutsche Industrie Norm.) The most common is "Din a 4". So my question, which Format (size, meassure) do the pages have? I assume in Germany Din a 4 - or in America the normal US Letter-Format. Am I right?

How to customize the page numbering such that in a landscape layout with two column, each column will have individual page number?

If you click the media button in the top right corner, it will insert an image, video, or audio clip.

Is there for students to collaboratively create an iBook together? I have a zoology class and I want each student to do a section on a given animal. Is there a way for them to create their individual sections and then somehow share them with me so I can put them all together in one iBook?
