My personal favorite season opener was Baker Mayfield.

It really doesn't matter in the end because before the season started the NFCE was a 2-man race between the Eagles & Dallas. I must say the way The eagles came back & just completely locked down on the skins was scary & it shows their true potential. I also feel like they're underrating the skins here. Yea they don't have the big flashy names but they have a better defensive group & Oline especially compared to the Giants.

The eagles didn’t play in the preseason, the first half was Carson’s preseason

I think it was more impressive to see Dak throw 400 yards with a perfect passer rating. True it was the giants but I think he only missed one throw or two? The others were drops by players. Everyone criticized Dak for not doing a good job of being accurate. This is what happens when you give Dak a good QB coach. Notice his footwork is better, he’s planting his feet more, throwing with conviction.

The Cowboys start was more impressive but what the Eagles did was impressive too because Wentz got it done especially with Jackson. It’s about getting it done and overcoming bad starts too. I don’t really care what the team pays Dak as long as they reach an agreement and hopefully soon although he said he don’t think about contract talks and it appears that way but he’s human and probably does a little. I really enjoyed the opener for my team and hopefully it’ll continue on this path. Go Cowboys!

Don’t forget that this was many Eagles player’ first game back in a long while (Wentz, Darby, McLeod, Sproles, and more all we’re injured last season and this was their first return). They shook off the rust and stayed competitive.
