Winner! Winner! Barbecue chicken dinner! Nicely done, Kris! I’d love to see a week of using your canned goodies and a week of freezer clean out! Honestly, I’d watch you read the phone book out loud! 🤣🤣🤣 Your veggie broth can be made of mostly onions. Mine is mostly onions with carrots, celery, and other bits and ends of broccoli, peppers and whatever other vegetables Ive cooked with recently . I use every veg but potatoes (too starchy). When I get 2 freezer bags full, I empty them in my big stock pot, pour in water to the top and throw in some peppercorns. Let it simmer forever and ladle into hot jars. Pressure can for recommended time with recommended weight. I don’t put salt in the broth or in the jars, though. I season when I cook with it. Have a blessed night!

Yummy, Kris. I'm loving all the low-carb recipes you've been uploading. Sounds like you have a fun-filled day planned for tomorrow. Have a great time! As far as the cheese goes, it's definitely more beneficial to shred your own. Not only is it cheaper, but Pre-shredded cheese is coated with cellulose which is made from cotton and wood pulp that keeps cheese from sticking together. 🤢
Much love, you two and BYE TOM 👋🥰❤️

Great video tonight. Here in the south BBQ is year round 😉. Regarding the onions in your veggie stock- since you like onions in a lot of your food having a lot in the broth shouldn’t be a problem. You’ll want some carrots and celery in there as well though too.

Future video ideas sound good. Definitely need pantry/ freezer clean out ideas. I was doing that last month then Kroger had a big meat sale so I stocked back up some. And- the large block cheese is supposed to be much better for you shredded than the store bought I’ve heard. If you can still find it that way definitely get it.

For your broth, save carrot peelings and celery tops. If you have any scrap bell peppers .If you don't have peelings just cut up a couple of carrots. Parsley flakes add nice flavor also. Dinner looks amazing 👏 Welcome to the family everyone who is new👋 since we are still in triple digits weather it's summer here. Have fun tomorrow with the grands😊 Blessings dear friend ❤

That looks super! You're right. A lot of the sugar free stuff has other added things, like more carbs than if you ate the regular stuff. I learned that real quick when doing low carb. All these companies be trickin you.

lol you just made me feel normal about my fridge/freezers. We have a normal fridge freezer combo, a full stand up fridge, a full stand up freezer, a small stand up freezer, then in garage a chest freezer….oh a wine fridge and a beverage mini fridge in the cave.

We have kids, grands, etc here a lot so we need them, but people that don’t feed a large group always act like we are crazy 😂😂😂

Dinner looks yummy! Congrats on your continued journey!

I definitely think shredding your own cheese is way healthier. Maybe not as far as calories and all of that but it doesn’t have that anti-cake stuff put on it which is really bad for you actually. And you can always shred it up and put it in the freezer and just use it as you need it.

Looks delicious. I at times just use bbq seasonings. No calories. That way, I can have baked tater or fries.
I never buy sawdust shredded cheese. It is cheaper and healthier to shred your own.
I make my own iced tea green ginger tea served over lots of ice after it has steeped and put in fridge to get cold. No sugar added to it just lemon slices.
I think doing freezer and home canned be good, even if people don't can they have store canned goods in their cupboards or they should have. ❤

Cheese that you shred yourself taste so much better! And I think you get more. The pre-shredded has anti-caking ingredients in it.

I don't know if it is cheaper but it melts quicker and I think it tastes better

We buy cheese and grate it ourselves, tastes better to us.😊

I like your idea of sliced tomatoes as a side

It’s better to shred yourself as it doesn’t contain the ingredients to keep it from clumping.

I was told that shredded cheese has sprayed chemicals on them, you can still shred your cheese and freeze for the freezer.

You make it sound like taking those 2 boys to the Amish stores excites them like a zoo or carnival. Crazy.😂

I wouldn't mind see that but I like to make dishes that you make and I don't have caned food because I don't can but if that is good for you go for it
