Taxonomy: Heretical?

I'm not a theology person at all but i really wanna know yknow. and also does this go for other taxonomists of note? much to think about

So not religious in any way but I did grow up Catholic.

So we know that Adam named all the animals and categorized them, but the tower of babel incident happened in lore as well. So the names all got shuffled by the split in languages. Renaming the animals would then be necessary to fit the new languages.

That's what I think would make sense to a religious person so probably no herecy

I'm sure some folks would say "taxonomy heretical" but from my POV as a deacon, I can't really see much wrong from a theological standpoint to the act of naming and categorizing things. I guess certain entries could be individually heretical. But taken as a whole, I might even argue it a good thing from a religious standpoint because it shows a dedication and appreciation for God's creation

Can it be heretical if you lost the original names in the first place?

Put it this way, even if you lost your memory of your name...it is still you.
