A real cold start is with an injection pump that needs oil pressure to work

Never had a 6.0 crank that long in the cold unless it had high pressure oil leaks or glow plug issues

You should have heard my 6.9idi start in the middle of a Nebraska winter. Loved that truck, it ran strong until the day I scrapped it because the frame was rusted through and the body mounts broke off.
