Glad to hear this was a positive experience. This will be my first Microsoft exam too. I’m currently prepping. This gave me an additional boost of motivation. Also, totally get what you mean about vendors often times using their cert exams less as a knowledge check than a “can you untangle the puzzle we created with how we worded our questions?” Thanks!

I think it's smart that you got this certification even though you don't foresee yourself using it. I believe it's good to be current with the latest technology. You will always have a job. I've been out of I.T. for a long time and I'm making a return. I passed the MTA database fundamental and now I'm prepping for the Az 900. I'm taking 5 to 6 weeks because I've been out of the industry. Based on your experience, do you think I should get the CompTIA A+ since I lack the experience? I want to go for the Azure administrator role which doesn't require it, but I want to get your feedback.
