I never understood why republicans/conservatives were more associated with having Christian values. If I remember correctly, the bible teaches disdain for those that favor their own possessions over giving to the needy, especially foreigners.

If the US Government would leave other countries alone and stop controlling them and pick which government they want for certain countries than maybe those 3-7k people wouldn't be in a caravan trying to get to the border of United States. US government should stop creating corruption or helping them get into power as they did in Honduras than maybe this problem wouldn't exist.

Cenk took the words right from my typing fingers - I was just going to say that if we helped those countries like we did for Germany & Japan during WWII they could end up becoming lifelong allies as well as helping us economically in turn WITHOUT the need for them to migrate here illegally. I think that is a brilliant and proactive way to help solve the issue at hand.
